  4. Are the notes and coins legal tender?
    Yes
  5. How are the notes different from the ones available at the banks?
    The SG50 $50 note used in S1, S2, S6 and S7 has a special SG50 prefix and a Blue vertical serial number. The notes used in S5 and S8 carry identical serial numbers in the last six digits.
  6. Can I just buy the packaging?
    No.
  7. What is the best way to store the notes?
    Always store your collection in a dry place and away from moisture. Avoid direct sunlight and artificial light. They are rich in ultra-violet rays that are particularly destructive to currency notes. The notes are best stored at a constant temperature of 20-24 Celsius and a relative humidity of 45-55%. If the notes and coins are kept in small containers, use silica gel to prevent damage by water vapour. In large storage areas, a dehumidifier is recommended.

  8. How are the notes protected within the packaging?
    Within the packaging, the notes are contained in a film pocket made out of inert material that is meant for currency storage.
  9. I would like to exchange my purchase. What do I do?
    There is no exchanged allowed. Noel Gifts is not liable for the item(s) after acknowledgement of delivery order. Kindly check condition of item(s) upon delivery.

Purchasing


  1. Is there a maximum that I can buy?
    There is no limit to how many you can buy. However, full payment has to be made by 11 September 2015 to qualify for balloting if there is an over subscription for any item(s). All cheques have to be cleared by 9 September 2015.
  2. How do I know what is still available and how many pieces?
    We will be taking preview sale orders until 11 September 2015. If there is an over subscription for any item(s), allocation will be based on balloting.
  3. Why do I have to pay upfront before my order is confirmed?
    To qualify for the preview sale, we have to receive full payment even if the item(s) are oversubscribed by 11 September 2015. This is to ensure fairness and to protect the interests of genuine buyers as there is no maximum for purchases.
  4. How do I buy in bulk or for corporate use?

  5. Can I buy these from anyone else?
    No. Noel Gifts is the official vendor for the SG50 Numismatic Currency Collection.
  6. Can I choose the serial number of the notes?
    No.
  7. Is my purchase confirmed once I′ve received a confirmation email?
    Receiving a confirmation email indicates that we have received your order and are processing payment. If there is no over subscription of the item(s) you have selected, delivery and self-collection will start 18 September 2015. If there is an over subscription for some or all of the item(s), a ballot will determine allocation. Results of the ballot will be announced 14 September 2015 via SMS and/or email.
  8. When is my purchase confirmed?
    Your order has been successfully received when we have received full payment. Only successful orders will qualify for balloting if the item(s) are oversubscribed. The results of the balloting will be announced via SMS and/or email on 14 September 2015.

  16. Can I cash and carry?
    You can physically place an order and make cash payment at Noel Gifts by 11 September 2015. However, self-collection and delivery will only start from 18 September 2015.

    Refunds will be made in the event that applicant is not allocated the product(s) due to unsuccessful balloting or if the item is no longer available and will be notified accordingly. The refund will be made within thirty (30) days upon such notification.

Balloting


  1. Is my purchase guaranteed?
    Once your order and payment have been received by 11 September 2015, your order is confirmed if there is no over subscription for the item(s) you have selected. For item(s) that have been oversubscribed, a ballot will be conducted.
  2. How and when will I know if it has been oversubscribed and we are balloting?
    Preview sales will close 11 September 2015. Results will be announced 14 September 2015 via SMS and/or email.
  3. What happens if some of what I want to purchase requires balloting and some doesn’t?
    Results will be announced 14 September 2015 via SMS and/or email. Delivery and self-collection will commence 18 September 2015. Item(s) that do not require balloting will be fulfilled accordingly. The refund for unsuccessful ballots will be made within thirty (30) days upon receiving bank information.
  4. What do I do if I win the ballot but do not want to purchase it?
    No cancellations are allowed.
  5. Can I give my balloted allocation to someone else?
    No. Before delivery or self-collection, verification will be conducted before the item(s) are released.

    Yes, you can purchase any of these items.     Please login to https://www.sgnumismatic.com/result to select the date and time. As many people are also booking their self-collection location and time slot, it is normal for the available and unavailable slots to fluctuate.
  2. Can I just walk in to any of the locations to make a collection?
    No. Each location will have the exact quantity and sets to match customers who have booked their location and time slots.
  3. What do I when I cannot make my selected location and time?
    After 24 hours have lapsed since your last booking date and time, please login to https://www.sgnumismatic.com/result to reselect a date and time.
  4. Can someone else collect my purchase for me?
    Yes. You will need to fill out the authorisation letter and hand your representative a copy of your identification (NRIC, Passport, FIN etc) that matches the information given during the purchase.
  5. Do I need to bring anything when I come to collect my purchase?
